Ole Smoky

Ole Smoky Distillery, nestled in the heart of Tennessee, is a brand that embodies the rich heritage and traditions of Appalachian moonshining. Established in 2010, Ole Smoky was the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee, a region steeped in the lore of clandestine stills and family recipes passed down through generations. The distillery quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality moonshine, crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail that the original mountain moonshiners employed.

Drawing on the region's storied past, Ole Smoky produces a wide variety of spirits, from their original unaged corn whiskey to an array of flavored moonshines and whiskeys. Each product is created using locally sourced ingredients and time-honored methods, ensuring an authentic taste experience that is both nostalgic and innovative.

The distillery's commitment to preserving the essence of Appalachian culture extends beyond their spirits. Ole Smoky has become a cultural hub, welcoming visitors to their locations in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Nashville. These distilleries offer a unique glimpse into the world of moonshining, with tours, tastings, and live music that celebrate the spirit of the Smoky Mountains.

From its humble beginnings to its current status as a beloved brand, Ole Smoky Distillery continues to honor the legacy of Tennessee moonshining, blending tradition with modernity to create exceptional spirits that are enjoyed by enthusiasts around the world.
