2022 Ottin Canto X Chardonnay Vallee d'Aoste 750ml

Experience the cool, high-altitude elegance of the 2022 Ottin Canto X Chardonnay Vallee d'Aoste 750ml. This unique 100% Chardonnay is grown at over 650 meters above sea level in the Valle d'Aosta region of northern Italy, an area celebrated for its alpine terroir and distinct minerality. The vineyards are tended with care, even utilizing manure from the winery's own cows.

The taste offers a complex and fresh profile, balancing fruit richness with mountain freshness. Layers of citrus oil and subtle tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit) are beautifully integrated with notes of flinty minerality, savory thyme, and a hint of sweet spice from its aging in French oak tonneaux. The palate is taut, persistent, and driven by mouthwatering salinity.
